Accountability Update (13-06-10)

Posted on 13. Jun, 2010 by Aaron in Accountability

Fantastic week this week, partly because I’ve had the week off work (first one since last year) but I also worked on some client projects on top of my affiliate stuff and earned very nearly triple what I’d of been paid for a full weeks work, for half the hours ….. sweeeeeet!!!

I’ve also sort of had a taster of how life will be once everything is rolling big style and boy did I have a good time. Work, rest and play all to the max (apart from going out drinking, wanted to train hard this week). So, on top of my client work I totalled up over 320 km on the bike and then had the luxury of resting properly after each run, although technically I stopped Thursday because my legs felt like stone.

Even my affiliate projects didn’t get neglected and still managed a few hours on them too. One in particular, I had another massive crazy idea (yep, another one), just about to get started on it later after drilling a few holes in my walls! Think this is the hardest part now because I’m reading blog posts or getting emails and where I used to take the info in the smallest thing now will spark off a huge idea, all I can say is the ads for this are either going to make people laugh out loud or want to lynch me. One or the other I reckon it’s a money maker.

One thing that gave me a real boost this week on top of the money was a program about the richest people in Europe and how they made their millions. There were a couple of common traits between them all which were most of them had admitted to losing lots of money and making costly mistakes along the way. They all blanked people who’d put them down and say ‘you can’t do that’. Finally the last one was a dogged determination to succeed.

After watching that program I had a really fired up feeling of basically (pardon my French) fuck those people who are just going to pull you down all the time. I know where I’m going, you can keep your 9-5 mediocrity but don’t expect me to do the same ….. no fucking way!!!

There was also a publishing magnate on the same program, really can’t remember his name but he’s 59 and the thought of retiring puts the fear of god into him, he said he’ll still have that spark to succeed and desire to experience the thrill of the chase on his death bed, bloody good on ya mate!!! Screw doing the same ol’ and turning into a vegetable on the sofa, he’d just started racing Maserati’s too, man what an inspiration. Basically don’t settle for the norm, keep pushing.

Well time to crack on and get my next great project underway (and drill some holes). Work tomorrow, but hell they ain’t gonna dampen my spirits, I’m well and truly firing on all cylinders.

Hours worked – 22hrs (Week off …. Whoop whoop!!!)

Activities – Making money and lots of it.

Summary – Success gets addictive. After steadily plodding along working on projects here and there I’ve finally had a taster of real success this week.
