Accountability Update (11-08-10)
Posted on 11. Aug, 2010 by Aaron in Accountability
Fantastic! While I’ve dropped my affiliate work to do some offline work my Amazon affiliate sites have been gaining momentum. Not a lot but considering I built them then left them to do their own thing I’m not complaining.
I’ve now got two weeks off work, which I’m going to put to good use mostly with training (on the bike and affiliate) and just tie up a few loose ends with some sites I’ve left hanging.
Going back to the Amazon sales it’s a great feeling when the sales start coming in, like I’ve said not at a fast rate at the moment but more importantly at a pace to get me excited about pushing everything forward, where before it seemed like nothing was happening which may have partly motivated me to take on the big web design contract.
One thing I really want to get going in is the offline niche, not so much pushing web design / internet marketing services even though I still aim to do well with this, but other avenues of opportunity such as lead generation and specialist service sites. I think this is where my business will settle in the future and it’ll be nice if I have a wide and varied selection of revenue sources to pick from.
And apologies for the lateness of this update, massive stag do at the weekend, very messy and took me a day or two to shake the after affects off (hangover), one thing that made me smile is I made an affiliate sale while out that day, not quite the mega bucks passive incomes other so called gurus talk about but just the thought of being out drinking beer while money was falling into my bank account gives me a warm fuzzy feeling ….. or maybe that was the vodka lol.
